Tim and Emma have gained a wealth of experience working around the world in some of the finest hotels and restaurants. Tim spent ten years under the late Francis Coulson at Sharrow Bay, Cumbria - it was here that he developed his individual style, and met Emma!
Their family includes two teenage sons Ben and Olly (who also help in the restaurant). Ellie a Pointer dog, two horses Pip and Maverick and three cats Max, Casey and Foxy. The small team at Little Barwick includes their sons Ben and Olly, Liz and Anna two long term key members of staff who help Emma run the front of house.

Their aim is to create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy delicious food, which wherever possible, is sourced locally. Tim, who is the chef uses only the finest ingredients. The food is complemented by an exciting and well priced wine list, inviting sitting rooms with open log fires to relax, a delightful garden to stroll and comfortable bedrooms to sleep. We are happy to offer the house on an exclusive use basis be it in the week or weekend. We make an ideal base for a house party (accommodating up to 12 guests) without any hard work! Menus can be tailored to your occasion, likes/dislikes and budget. We can offer tasting menus with accompanying wine or a choice menu. Please contact Emma for more details.
